  
Introduction: Exciting opportunity for a degree qualified Mechanical Design engineer to work for a growing company in a very desirable area of the UK! Job Specification: Our client is a specialist design and manufacturer of equipment for the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. Due to their ongoing commercial success they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design / Development Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will need to be a degree qualified Design Engineer who can demonstrate a strong Mechanical / Hydraulic background. You will have to be capable of undertaking detailed design and will have strong experience with concept design as well as being happy to carry out upgrade design work for existing equipment. You must be able to work in 3D CAD and experience using Solidworks would be beneficial. Knowledge of materials, seals, precision mechanisms, hydraulics, design for manufacture and manufacturing methods would all be highly beneficial.
